Majulah Malaysia

This week lecture class was my first time knowing the May 13 tragedy in our country and then I was lost in the class. And then one topic that caught my attention was "Population of Bangladesh increasing day by day, even more than Malaysian in the city." I was like ya wor, the majority of the passengers in the rapid bus are all foreigners, the Petaling Street was china town in KL, but now has became "bangla street'.

Actually, I have no prejudice towards foreigners. Because most of the foreigners that i came into contact with are friendly and they treated us in very good manners. In my experience, last month my family and I were having lunch in the korean restaurant, the waiter treated us like old friends, he offered us extra stamps and tells joke to us. What in my mind is, they just wanted to earn money here and feed their family in their country, they work so hard to serve us better, we should not treat them like a slave. We should say "terima kasih" to them who are serving us.

But back to where we were, in Malaysia, this country should give more working opportunity to Malaysian and only Malaysian have the right to vote during our election. The government should not give them the citizenship in our county that makes them able to vote during our election. Malaysia is the root of our three races ( Malay, Chinese and Indian ). Malaysia punya business if non of their business.

As a intellectualism and patriotism, we must vote in next election for a better country!

  1. I am pretty amazed that your parents have not told you about the May 13 incident before! I would be interested to know what is their response to you if you ask them about the incident. Do you know how old your parents were in 1969? Maybe they were too young to remember much?
